Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking experienced Senior Node.js Developers to join their dynamic Tech Department located in Maadi Technology Park. This role involves working closely with the Head of the Tech Department and contributing to impactful technology solutions through robust Node.js development.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance Node.js applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, including front-end technology integration.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Oversee code quality through code reviews and implement best practices in software development.
Design and implement microservices architecture, ensuring efficient and modular application design.
Utilize design patterns to enhance code maintainability and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring reliability and performance of applications.
Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and deadlines.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the tech stack remains current.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of the platform.
Key Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience: 3+ years as a Node.js Developer, preferably within the software industry.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Next.js, Python, and TypeScript.
Proficiency in asynchronous programming.
Practical knowledge of Generative AI, particularly OpenAI models.
Previous experience with chatbots and real-time applications.
Experience with design patterns and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud-managed services like AKS or EKS.
Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
Proficiency in database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proven leadership abilities and experience managing or mentoring a development team.
Very good proficiency in English.
