Senior Mechanical Site Engineer

A well-known engineering consultancy is hiring a Senior Mechanical Site Engineer with over 10 years of experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervising the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensuring compliance with mechanical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure timely project completion.
• Conducting site inspections and quality checks on mechanical work.
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during construction.
• Preparing and reviewing mechanical drawings, plans, and reports.
• Reviewing and approving shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Managing material procurement and coordinating with suppliers.
• Monitoring and controlling project costs and schedules.

Job Requirements:

• BSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office/AutoCAD.
• Strong experience in reviewing and approving shop drawings/As-built drawings.
• Flexibility with travelling inside Egypt.
