Main contact for Finance in the region; collaborate with Project and Key Account Managers. Handle local closings, audits, compliance, and accounting guidelines. Act as Tax Custodian, managing local tax requirements, declarations, and Corporate Tax coordination. Lead the future Head of the Egyptian entity of Lufthansa Group Business Services (LGBS). Ensure quality management & ICS (Internal Control System) for Finance processes, maintaining issue logs and following up on ICS findings. Manage treasury activities, consulting new LHG companies on cash/banking and foreign exchange risks pre-market entry. Act as an interface between LHG companies and Corporate Tax Department, managing tax audits, litigation, and local tax consultants. Oversee regional financial services processes (P2P, O2C), driving smooth operations. Foster continuous improvement and cross-BU collaboration, maintaining knowledge management per LH Group standards. Support central and regional projects as needed.
Education: High school certificate required; Master’s or Bachelor’s with vocational training in Finance, Legal, or Business Admin preferred
Experience: 5+ years in Finance management or 3-year vocational training with 2-year qualification, 7+ years in Finance. Cross-regional MENA experience essential
Technical Competencies: Fluent in English and Arabic (written/spoken), strong MS-Office skills, SAP knowledge desirable
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of fiscal law, local tax compliance, and regulatory regulations. Strong negotiation, diplomacy, communication skills, and intercultural competence
