Senior GL Accountant - Based inCairo, Egypt.Your role:- You will besupporting and interacting with business to provide accounting support duringmonth end/quarter end closing (e.g. review of journal entries)
- You willprovide monthly accounting governance and closing activities for the allocatedarea and alignment critical topics with Accounting Hub
- You willmonitor ledger account reconciliations prepared by business/legal entity andfollows up and clears anomalies identified
- You willperform quarterly Balance Sheet reviews, and investigates and clears anomalies
- You willexecute assigned tasks and activities with high efficiency and qualityfollowing the company rules, regulations, policies and/or instructions
- Maintain andprocess complex entries in accordance with IFRS/GAAP requirements
- Implementprocess improvements; special projects as assigned.
Your expertise and qualifications:- BS/BA inrelated discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalentcombination of education and experience.
- Minimum 4-6Years of experience in similar role.
- CharteredAccountant/Certified Public Accountant or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Excellentcommunication skills
- Strongproblem-solving skills and the proven ability to work effectively in afast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- SAPknowledge is preferable.
- Strong levelof English communication.
