Senior Genesys System Engineer
Job Description
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Genesys solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Genesys platform.
• Install and configure Genesys Engage Modules.
• Configure and customize reports for customers.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex Genesys issues, ensuring minimal
disruption to contact center operations.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Ensure seamless integration of Genesys infrastructure components with existing systems and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and workflows.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Genesys applications, including system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
Skills
• 2-4 years of experience• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in configuring and managing Genesys Engage (on-prem) and Genesys Cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IVR, WFM, routing, GIR Call Recording, WDE, and GCXI in Genesys Engage.
• Experience in Java SE is a must, and familiarity with Java EE is required.
• Strong experience with Oracle DB and SQL.
• Solid experience in the software development life cycle.
• Hands-on experience with system integration and performance tuning of Genesys solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools to enhance system integration.
• Knowledge of networking principles, databases, and security practices in contact center environments.
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal communication skills).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Leadership skills: Proven experience in managing teams, providing mentorship, and leading projects to successful completion.
• Genesys Certified Professional certification is highly preferred.
