Key Responsibilities:
Review, validate, and approve shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals for finishing works
Provide expert-level technical solutions and recommendations to resolve project challenges.
Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure project alignment.
Lead the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and BOQs for finishing activities.
Monitor and control material and labor costs to ensure alignment with project budgets.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor offers to recommend cost-effective solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding finishing-related concerns.
Address client inquiries and ensure their satisfaction through proactive communication.
Lead client meetings to present progress updates and resolve technical issues.
Oversee the preparation and submission of technical reports, project updates, and documentation.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all technical office records and deliverables.
Collaborate with site teams to ensure finishing activities align with technical specifications and timelines.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor finishing works' progress, quality, and compliance.
Ensure all finishing works adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Conduct quality reviews and guide continuous improvement.
Mentor and supervise junior technical office engineers, fostering their professional development.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team alignment with project objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in technical office work, specifically in finishing activities.
Proficiency in AutoCAD , Microsoft Suite, and other technical software.
Basic Knowledge of project management software is a plus (e.g. , Primavera, MS project)
Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing roles.
