SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER - CIVIL

• Develop and review designs for hydrology systems, rain intensity studies, and flood protection measures.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic calculations to predict flood risks and evaluate drainage system performance.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and designs aligned with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Assess and provide feedback on reports and studies submitted by third-party consultants.
• Ensure third-party deliverables meet project scope, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Provide expert advice and support during the implementation and maintenance of flood protection systems.
• Reading the contract, Specifications and Bill of Quantity.
• Preparing and review of preliminarily base design, detailed design and shop drawings.
• Attending FATs and making the site survey.
• Attending meetings with other departments.
• Technical support at site.
• Preparing log file.

Education: Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering.

Years of Experience: 5-7

Language:

• Proficiency in English (Written & Spoken) is required.
• Proficiency in French is preferred.

Computer Skills:

• HEC-HMS (Hydrologic Modeling System)
• HEC-RAS (River Analysis System)
• ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping
• AutoCAD Civil 3D for infrastructure design
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Info Drainage & Info Water Pro (Autodesk)
