About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, controlling, and maintaining accurate costing details.
What You Will Do:
Reconcile inventory movements.
Monitor production job orders and collect relevant data.
Identify and track changes in the Bill of Materials (BOM).
Record variable costs, including raw material purchases and operational expenses.
Review and generate standard and moving average costs for production.
Prepare monthly inventory reports, including Work in Process (WIP), semi-finished, and finished products.
Analyze stock data and reconcile results.
Conduct regular and year-end inventory counts.
Submit and record material valuations in SAP.
Review and validate inventory receipts and stock issuance records.
Perform monthly inventory valuation.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost accounting.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
3–5 years of experience in Cost Accounting (Must).
Manufacturing background (Must), preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of costing methods (Standard/Moving Average).
Experience handling multi-layered BOMs.
ERP experience preferred, particularly SAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
