Our clients in these sectors need strategy and investment planning inputs not only at the project level, but also at the corporate, portfolio and organizational levels.
Position Summary
Our Strategic Advisory team requires an experienced Senior Consultant with experience in strategy and investment planning to join our team. The successful candidate will have proven experiences in corporate and financial planning and business case development for initiatives in large-scale international projects ideally in UAE, KSA and the wider Middle East region. The role will require strategy and management consulting experience across sectors preferably at corporate level.

The right candidate will be based in Cairo but will be required to work across the broader Middle East.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Project Management
- Steer project execution to deliver agreed upon service aligned with client expectations.
- Support the Project Leadership on all aspects of time, cost, and quality for our consulting projects.
- Work together with our technical advisors, engineers, planners and commercial consultants to bring integrated offerings to our clients.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide input into integrated service offerings such as master planning and land development with specific focus on digital and net zero elements to drive Business case developments, capital plan developments.
- Manage stakeholders and drive alignment and buy-ins from key stakeholders.
- Build lasting relationships and influence senior colleagues and clients in leading roles.
- Build strong internal relationships across the AtkinsRéalis business.
Project Delivery
- Develop an understanding of Client and sectoral environment and; identify opportunity areas leading to development of strategy plans
- Lead delivery on client assignments; key tasks include stakeholder management, Prepare client presentations, work products and deliverables to be presented at C-Suite level.
- Develop Financial models, undertake cost benefit analysis, scenario analysis and generate investment plans based on prioritisation models aligned to department/unit level and corporate level objectives.
- Effectively Communicate key strategic decisions through visualizations based on the financial analysis.
- In collaboration with client stakeholders, develop investment proposals for identified opportunities including scope, work breakdown structures, schedules and costs.
- Develop Benefit management plans including assessment of Benefits realization from key strategic initiatives.
- Work within both traditional and agile project environments with high degree of ambiguity and a track record of high-quality delivery.
- Leverage data and technology including visualization tools such as Power BI to provide valuable insights to leadership and solutions to client’s challenges.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, key trends, economic indicators, and market dynamics to provide timely and relevant insights to clients.
Win Work
- Assist service line leadership in identifying business development opportunities with current and potential clients.
- Contribute to preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals to win work and expand the service line.
Practice Building & Development
- Contribute to positioning our Consulting and Strategic Advisory services across the Middle East through thought leadership development and social media presence.
- Identify opportunities for new and integrated services, bringing the best from our global business and technical domains to our clients in the middle east and beyond.
Education
- MBA Finance is required. CFA is preferred
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Engineering, Economics or Business is required.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
- Overall experience: 4-8 years with 3-4 years advising companies on strategy, finance and Investment planning.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, investment planning and financial modelling, with a track record of project delivery and management
- Experience in strategy and management consulting across sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of financial concepts, valuation, financial modelling, scenario analysis
- Exposure to development of business cases and feasibility studies
- Exposure to value for money analysis (VfM) and risk analysis
- Excellent understanding of Advanced Excel with SQL, VBA and Macros, financial modelling, and analytical skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and report writing and presentation.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau and project reporting and visualization tools is preferrable.
Behavioral Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of presenting detailed subject matter to a variety of stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to interact with regulatory agencies, stakeholders and clients while developing effective relationships.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Arabic is preferred.
- Willing to travel within UAE and the GCC region.
- Able to independently prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
- Flexible, adaptable, and prepared to take on new challenges and work from other AtkinsRéalis and client office locations.
- Highly self-motivated, possessing strong enthusiasm and commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes.
