SOKNA is immediately hiring a Senior Accountant with the following responsibilities & requirements.Job Responsibilities:- Manage daily accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.- Prepare and analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to assess financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.- Handle all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring timely payments, and responding to tax inquiries and audits.- Oversee the end-of-year closing process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and resolve any discrepancies. and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights and analysis.- Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.- Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance and provide guidance on best practices.- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.Job Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant- Deep knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)- Familiarity with financial accounting statements- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks- Preferred experience in Real Estate financials.- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.- Organized, accurate, and detail-oriented. - Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.Package:Very Attractive SalarySocial and medical insurance are guaranteed.Company Industry: Egypt's first end-to-end funeral service & cemeteryCompany Website: https://sokna.com/Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/soknagroup/Work Location: MaadiWorking Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.Experience Level: Mid - Senior LevelSub Department: Accounting
