The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced senior accountant to be an integral part of our high performing finance team. As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in addition to overseeing the general ledger, performing reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and assisting with audits.
Your Impact:
Bookkeeping in SAP
- Manage the account payables ledger as well as the periodic payment runs while ensuring segregation of duties.
- Guarantee the timely and accurate reporting to local authorities. Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements on a monthly basis.
- Circularize of Vendor Balance confirmations and Reconciliations, Co-ordination with vendors to maintain timely payments.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing for both vendor and customer invoices.
- Carry out depreciation runs, posts all accrual and deferral entries as well as revaluations, write offs and provisions.
Analysis & Reporting
- Participate in monthly closing activity and calculations of provisions for expenses.
- Analyze General Ledger and prepare various monthly closing schedules.
- Lead the OPEX discussions with the Disease area leads & enablers on monthly basis
Process Management
- Set Internal Controls measures and adherence to Internal Policies.
- Deal with Internal and Statutory Auditors by way of providing data required by them.
Who you are
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- You demonstrate 3 to 5 years of work experience in finance, accounting or auditing department, preferably in Big4, and/or the healthcare industry
- You are proficient user of SAP and excellent Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge
- Your English language is fluent
- You possess excellent oral and written communication skills and organization skills
- You are able to deliver quality work under pressure & handle deadlines
- You are a digital Savvy and able to manage task remotely within the region
- You are proactive and capable of taking initiates to complex processes solving
