About the role
As a S&TS Supervisor you deliver outcomes through supervision of the Technical and the Solutions & Performance work steams within Scientific & Technical Services team, delivery of the work schedule and effective management of resources and workflow to support the efficient and timely supply of safe blood and blood products within a service excellence culture.
The Technical work stream Increases operational efficiency and reliability of the regional manufacturing teams to deliver the production and work schedules through technical service and response.
The Solutions & Performance work stream facilitates improvement and development of solutions and change initiatives with the regional manufacturing teams and national S&TS to improve the quality, safety, efficiency and delivery of the production and work schedules. This work stream also provides SME to support investigations, validations and implementation of change plans.
Qualification in Technical/Biological discipline in a laboratory environment. Ability to manage & lead service and support team with focus on change management & continuous improvement. Experience with operations in a regulated production environment adhering to the principles of GMP and GLP is essential. Experience with lean manufacturing processes. Demonstrate ability to communicate and facilitate solutions in a service and support environment. Experience managing production and work scheduling.
This is a permanent full-time role based at Sydney Processing Centre with occasional Interstate travel required.
