Scheduling Manager @Siemens Mobility Egypt

Today, we are recruiting for a Schedule Manager to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Implement and support schedule management procedures and plans, ensuring consistent application of approved policies and procedures throughout the project.
• Prepare Primavera P6 project schedules, extracting progress information using the P6 tool.
• Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules in P6.
• Create specific time schedules according to project phases.
• Coordinate the time schedule with the project team, analyzing, optimizing, and reporting deviations and conflicts.
• Support controlling activities to meet target dates across various technical fields, in collaboration with consortium partners and on-site staff. Prepare schedule reports, such as Critical Path analyses, and develop mitigation and acceleration measures.
• Continuously gather schedule feedback from different project managers and site staff, evaluating the impact on progress, deadlines, and contractual milestones.
• Conduct progress analysis by comparing actual progress with planned schedules and prepare earned value reports.
• Assist in forensic analysis of events to support claim defense and preparation.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly progress reports for the client, including internal and external time schedule reports, such as deviation analysis, MTAs, S-curves, variance reports, critical path reports, and resource reports.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• An engineering degree or successful completion of a technical-based apprenticeship.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Scheduler in major engineering projects, preferably in the railway industry.
• Proficient knowledge of Primavera P6 tool.
• Experience in preparing submissions to meet contractual requirements.
• Understanding of project management principles for project realization and execution.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• An independent and structured approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills combined with strong social abilities.
• A high level of customer and quality orientation, along with strong consulting and implementation skills.
