SAP Senior SD/CRM/CAR Consultant | Retail

As a SAP Senior SD/CRM/CAR Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and support of SAP solutions within the Sales and Distribution (SD), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Customer Activity Repository (CAR) modules. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that retail business processes are optimized, with a focus on customer engagement, sales efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD, CRM, and CAR solutions to meet business requirements in areas like sales order processing, customer management, inventory management, and promotions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and align SAP solutions with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Analyze and optimize business processes related to sales, order processing, customer engagement, and omnichannel integration.
• Ensure the efficient integration and ongoing support for SAP SD/CRM/CAR modules with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FICO, WM) and external systems (eCommerce, POS).
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues identified during testing.
• Oversee the integration of SAP SD/CRM with other systems such as third-party applications, POS systems, and mobile platforms.
• Ensure smooth data exchange and real-time updates between SAP and external systems.
• Provide training and support to key business users, ensuring they can effectively leverage SAP SD/CRM/CAR functionalities.
• Lead or participate in SAP SD/CRM/CAR implementation projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Mentor junior consultants and help lead project teams in delivering SAP solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP SD, CRM, and CAR consulting with a focus on retail environments.
• Proven track record of implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP SD, CRM, and CAR modules in a retail or consumer-facing industry.
• Strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) modules.
• Experience with SAP integration, especially with external systems such as POS, eCommerce platforms, and third-party applications.
• Solid understanding of retail-specific business processes (sales, promotions, pricing, inventory, etc.).
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: SAP certifications in SD, CRM, or CAR are highly desirable.
• Project Management Experience: Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and experience in leading SAP projects is a plus.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform or other cloud solutions for retail is an advantage.
