Position Summary:



The Director of New Business is responsible for building, leading, managing and scaling the new business function in Egypt.  This role will be responsible for the overall strategy and leadership of Property Finder’s new customer acquisition performance. 


The Director of New Business is an ambassador of our brand and as such they are responsible for all revenue in their territory and/or function - they must fully understand their business needs, challenges and identify opportunities for positioning new products, processes and services that help our customers to be successful and help us to better serve them. 

This is a strategic and versatile role and the candidate must be a seasoned leader that can step in to lead other functions or the country.


 


Team Size: 20-40 sales professionals


 


Key Responsibilities


  • Become an expert on the Property Finder marketplace basics and solution portfolio .
  • Build and scale the new business function across Egypt to acquire small, medium and large customers with velocity and quality that helps the brand assert its market leadership
  • Work closely with SDR and Sales Operations teams to align on processes to streamline customer acquisition
  • Exceed new client acquisition targets and revenue goals by setting up the right org structures, sales processes, CRM hygiene.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations and Retention teams to setup proper processes for customer hand off.
  • Hire, Develop and coach your team to adopt a consultative mindset and approach in managing customers.
  • Forecast Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly sales expectations with predictability within 5% accuracy.  
  • Help your team to negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize mutual interest.
  • Meet with customers to assess their feedback, utilization and concerns and use customer meetings as an opportunity to coach your sales team

 


Desired Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or science major. MBA Preferred.   A good understanding of the real estate industry is desirable
  • Minimum of overall 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS/Subscription marketplace/sales and account management. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer acquisition and new business strategies.  Proven track record of building and scaling a new business function 
  • Solid track record of predictable forecasting on a Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly basis
  • Adept in cross functional planning and collaboration with key internal and external decision makers.
  • Experienced Sales coach who is focused on team development and team success.  Lead from the front.
  • Strong Analytical skills and a data driven approach in managing the business
  • Strong service mindset that requires patience while dealing with different types of customers and employees
  • Assertive, influential and highly motivated with an ability to work in a target driven company.
  • Highly computer literate – adept at Excel and Powerpoint with solid experience in using CRM tools (SalesForce experience is a plus).
  • Public speaking, communication skills, presentation skills, data translation skills.  Arabic and English speaker essential.
