To strengthen our team, we are looking for a [[RM Planner]] in our plant in [[Fayoum]].


Tasks and Responsibilities


RM Planning & Supplier Follow-up:


  • Plan and execute the procurement of raw materials according to MRP results (send releases, get order confirmations, shipping confirmations, follow up on delayed orders).
  • Analyze RM coverage and reschedule open orders to align with production planning requirements.
  • Periodically check SAP parameters to ensure orders are released according to scheduling agreements with suppliers.
  • Obtain supplier invoices once parts leave the supplier and ensure all in-transit parts are under control based on the DOH report.
  • Ensure that all announced quantities/volumes by suppliers are correctly loaded from the forwarder’s HUB and will reach the original ETA.
  • Confirm that loaded trucks from the forwarder’s HUB/suppliers are in line with schedules and complete the daily truck follow-up.
  • Analyze and ensure coverage based on the weekly coverage report.
  • Check the weekly orders control and provide necessary comments and actions.
  • Submit internal claims to suppliers/import & export with sufficient evidence for any abnormal delivery claims.
  • Archive all documents related to quality and quantity claims in the designated folder.
  • Maintain inventories at an optimum level.
  • Minimize overstock/excessive stock and avoid dead stock occurrence.
  • Coordinate with new project planners and provide required analyses for customer increases/decreases and MPS changes.

Materials Shortage Alarm and Potential Production Interruption:


  • Proactively report material availability issues.
  • Regularly review MRP results to identify potential risks of production interruption.
  • Communicate critical parts to the Coordinator based on the weekly coverage report.
  • Report any abnormal deliveries and potential risks of production interruption to the Coordinator within the requested alarm time.
  • Take immediate contingency actions to avoid production shortages.
  • Provide full and clear analyses for any potential risk of shortage.
  • Ensure necessary follow-up for trucks loading critical parts in transit with the transport team.

Premium Cost Control and Cost Recovery:


  • Complete the specific transportation form if special transportation is needed before it is conducted.
  • In case of supplier failure, complete the internal charge form with sufficient evidence for purchase.
  • Create and fulfill debit notes for all costs not under YMO responsibility.
  • Provide all necessary information and evidence to the person in charge of reporting.

EHS and IATF:


  • Respect waste management requirements.
  • Adhere to Yazaki EH&S requirements.
  • Follow Yazaki standards and procedures.
  • Comply with YAZAKI Basics (MOTO, 7 Muda, TPME) and the linked standards.
  • Support new projects.
Position Requirements

Education:


  • Business Administration, or related field.

Professional Experience:


  • 0 ~ 3 years in a related area (optional).
