Description



JOB PURPOSE
To establish a Resilience Training and Awareness framework that covers bank-wide employees and customers to promote the Security & BCM practices and embed them within the bank’s culture.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Description
1. Set schedules and plans for training and awareness for different audiences and participate in embedding the Security & Business Continuity concepts within the bank’s culture through different training forums to ensure full awareness of procedures in case of crises. Also, maintain periodic updates to the Security & Business Continuity training and awareness materials to ensure all information is up to date.
2. Maintain and continuously enhance the Security & Resilience training and awareness program for the organization to ensure that the material is always up to date and aligned with the latest updates relevant to the sector and industry, and ensure the program is aligned with the Security & Resilience policies and requirements so that people know, understand and can follow them
3. Develop & manage the respective tools to conduct internal surveys to be used across different areas in the bank to measure the level of Security and BCM awareness and conduct training needs analysis based on the results, and report key metrics to provide stakeholders situational awareness regarding the impact of the awareness program.
4. Develop respective training and awareness material for different types of events and different target audience to ensure effectiveness of the training / awareness, including role based training and awareness for different areas (e.g. high risk departments, key personnel with security / BCM roles within the bank, etc.)
5. Conduct classroom-based training sessions, presentations, and public speaking awareness events where needed.
6. Coordinate regular awareness events, campaigns for different groups of audience (e.g. awareness weeks, executive management awareness events, etc.)
7. Liaise with branding team for the planning, design, development of different customer awareness material that requires branding (posters, email shots, giveaways, customer awareness contents, etc.) and ensure publishing through different channels according to the set customer awareness plan.
8. Liaise with Learning and Development team for the development of eLearning trainings, and other awareness material over different platforms to fulfil the training and awareness needs on regular basis.
9. Manage the phishing simulation platform, develop phishing simulation campaigns and analyse their results to identify awareness gaps and address them within the training and awareness program through the authorized platforms.
10. Stay up to date with Security and Business Continuity industry trends and best practices to ensure the alignment and consideration within the training and awareness program.
11. Act as a focal point between Continuity & Resilience team and all stakeholder of the Business Resilience model to ensure their awareness and effective ownership of their responsibilities to ensure proper enforcement of the resilience culture and framework and policies requirements.

12. Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Day-to-day management
13. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Continuity & Resilience department to ensure continuity of work.
Compliance
14. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risk

Qualifications



QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Qualifications & Experience
 Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration or equivalent.
 4 – 6 years working experience in Business Continuity, Security, Training and/or related aspects (6 – 8 for Senior Officer).
Skills
 Excellent command of English and Arabic Languages
 Strong communication and presentation skills
 Time Management skills
