About the location:
About the role
The Reservations Supervisor is responsible for providing travel information, itineraries and prices, handling customer complaints or concerns, advising customers on travel terms and conditions or making reservations and sending confirmation notices.
What you will do
1. The ability to assume responsibility for the execution of the Reservation Department’s policies and procedures and manage the daily operation
2. The ability to maintain reservation standards
3. The ability to conduct standards testing including call observation on all staff covering both hotels
4. The ability to conduct regular WRO test calls and provide timely feedback
5. The ability to work quickly in a high-pressure environment and ability to handle stress
6. The ability to display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with guests and employees
7. The ability to assist in the selection and training of reservations staff.
8. The ability to schedule staff according to budget guidelines, while ensuring maximum service to guests
What you bring
1. College degree or equivalent
2. Computer literate (Knowledge of Opera/Excel/Word an asset)
3. Proficient in verbal/written English, proficiency in another language also helpful
4. Excellent analytical and organizational skills
5. Two years experience in a supervisory role in hotel operations is preferred
6. Previous CIS experience required
