Quality Control and Improvement Manager
What this position is about – Purpose:
You will be responsible for managing quality control activities throughout the entire manufacturing process. This includes overseeing quality plans for tobacco processing and make-pack to ensure that quality parameters meet the required standards. You will ensure the performance of quality equipment and oversee QUIP operations, aligning them with the necessary quality standards.
What will you do - Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of the quality plan, including sampling plans and QC measurement activities for new machinery, equipment, and process acceptance. Additionally, you will monitor product quality and process performance, addressing deviations through action steps, investigations, and decision-making.
You will contribute to the achievement of factory KPIs by supporting continuous improvement in EHS, energy management, suggestions, and quality management systems. You will also ensure compliance with legal and other requirements, such as new material run ability and NPD (New Product Development) startups.
You will support the achievement of targeted quality KPIs and manufacturing KPIs by conducting regular product analysis and reporting findings to inform departments of improvement opportunities. You will also be responsible for releasing products to the Finished Goods warehouse.
You will oversee various product sampling procedures for product evaluation and brand maintenance, ensuring adherence to global manuals and guidelines to achieve specified product quality. This includes leading IICI activities, consumer complaint investigations, and supporting MIC implementation with a focus on process performance and SKU specification management, while also supporting machinery upgrade projects.
As part of people management, you will motivate and guide the professional development of your team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
