Job Description:
The Quality and Food Safety Specialist will be a key player, working closely with Production and other supporting functions related to the Value Stream, to ensure consistent deliveries of safe products that meet all quality requirements in the Product Specifications. The job-holder will have responsibility to develop, implement and maintain the Quality & Food Safety management processes and procedures, in order to ensure compliance to relevant Mars standards and guidelines, under Quality Management Process (QMP) and to strive for beyond compliance by driving continuous improvement on the Q&FS aspects of the operations.
Education: Degree in Microbiology / Food Science / other relevant scientific discipline.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Food Manufacturing facility, where scientific principles have been practically applied. Technical depth and detailed knowledge of Quality Management, Food Microbiology, Food Safety and Hygiene is a must; experience with project management would be a plus.
