·Negotiate large-scale or strategic contracts, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.


4-Risk and Compliance Management


·Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal purchasing policies and procedures.


·Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation plans.


5-Reporting and Senior Management Interaction


·Report to senior management on procurement performance, financial savings, supplier performance, and strategic initiatives.


·Present key purchasing reports to top management, providing insights into procurement activities and improvements.


6-Internal Collaboration


·Collaborate with other department heads (finance, operations, logistics) to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with broader company strategies.


·Participate in executive decision-making related to purchasing strategies and key supplier contracts.


7-Team Management and Development


·Supervise the Purchasing Team Leader and ensure alignment with departmental goals.




Foster the professional growth and development of the purchasing team through training, performance feedback, and coaching.
