Job Description
OverviewLead the Plant operation to safely deliver product in specs and within cost targets to sales. Ensure plant assets are maintained to meet supply chain demand. Ensure compliance to all local government regulatory requirements and PCC standards for operation
Responsibilities
Develop annual operating plan for production Set production area performance standards and align organization Leads problem solving activities for production. Coaches line managers and operators in process improvement Consult with interdepartmental resources concerning problems which are affecting productivity, and take corrective action Coach and build capabilities of line managers to convert objectives Jointly develop with product availability resource the production schedule to meet weekly sales demand Review and analyze production and downtime reports daily. Follow-up with appropriate resources to systematically eliminate sources of downtime Lead the implementation of national and local initiatives for the production area (product, packaging, new technology … ) Utilize visual factory concepts to control and organize the work Ensure safe operating conditions exist throughout the production area. Promptly correct unsafe conditions Coaches and provides constant feedback for the development and improved performance of production personnel Develop staffing and skill building plans for the production area that directly links to delivering yearly AOP. Work closely with HR for effective implementation Ensure that an annual performance review is being conducted with all production personnel Responsible for the selection, on-boarding and recommending for termination of production line personnel Communicate production performance regularly to plant managers and other department heads Follow up and ensure compliance with C. R. P requirements. Correct as rapidly as possible hygiene deficiencies noted on inspections
Qualifications
manufacturing/ production background , safety & food safety awareness; basic of budgeting & finance Engineering background minimum 5 years in plant operations environment English
