Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY


The talabat Product team plays a central role in the growth of our company, with our empowered Product teams working to create meaningful solutions that address important user, vendor, and business opportunities.


We’re looking for a customer-centric, self-starting, and creative Product Manager II to lead a squad within the Incentives domain. In this role, you will own and enhance key features and processes to optimize talabat’s incentives logic and experience while driving a product-led roadmap that delivers measurable impact.


This role requires strong data-driven decision-making, experimentation expertise, and proactive ownership. Collaborating with engineers, data scientists, designers, and stakeholders across Cairo and Dubai, you’ll ensure seamless alignment and require regular travel to Dubai.


Your responsibilities will include overseeing the product roadmap, managing a cross-functional team, and ensuring strategic alignment across teams. By leveraging insights, key performance metrics, and stakeholder collaboration, you will enhance user experiences, optimize incentive offerings, and deliver value to our users, vendors, and the platform.


WHAT'S ON YOUR PLATE?


As Product Manager II for the Incentives domain, you will:


Be part of a crucial team shaping talabat’s incentive strategy 


  • Work within a cross-functional team of Product, Engineering, and Data


  • Build strong relationships with your team to supercharge your impact


  • Be driven to understand this opportunity space in great detail - who are the target customers (users and vendors), local contexts, business value, risks, opportunities, and technical challenges 


  • Lead continuous product discovery for your squad


  • Develop and maintain a product-led roadmap, closely aligned with business stakeholders


  • Champion customer development and data analysis to find new opportunities and de-risk your bets


Work closely with the design and research teams to uncover opportunities and unmet user needs


  • Own the discovery process end-to-end and be the leading voice in your cross-functional teams


  • Rapidly ideate, prototype, and iterate on solutions


  • Enhance and roll out improvements to our incentive experience 


Lead the prioritization of opportunities and solutions based on their impact on squad KPIs


  • Measure the success of enhancements and invest in the continuous improvement of the product


  • Be a problem-solver who does not hesitate to get hands-on to unblock your team and deliver quality solutions quickly


  • Work with stakeholders to grow your knowledge and supercharge your product efforts


Work closely with other teams to ensure incentive products are aligned with our end-to-end consumer experience and lifecycle

  • Own stakeholder communications for incentive products, presenting progress, insights, and strategies with clarity and impact  


  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including commercial, marketing,, and operations teams, to design and launch go-to-market strategies for incentive initiatives


  • Foster a culture of innovation and ownership, encouraging teams to take initiative and pursue opportunities



Qualifications

WHAT DID WE ORDER?


  • An experienced Product Manager with at least 5 years of work experience in Digital Product Management (web or mobile).
  • You have successfully launched products to the market


  • Strong understanding of Agile product management and a solid grasp of the responsibilities of empowered product teams


  • Demonstrated fantastic verbal and written communication skills, easily engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders


  • Able to communicate fluently with engineers and actively participate in technical discussions


  • Thrive in cross-functional teams and excel in a collaborative environment


  • Experienced in finding and defining solutions based on research, data, and insights


  • Top-notch project management skills, with hands-on experience using tools like Jira


  • Enjoy breaking down complex problems into manageable iterations


  • Confident in analyzing data sets to generate insights


  • Reliant on user and stakeholder feedback, as well as understanding available data, to set personal objectives


  • You can translate long-term product visions into simple, bite-sized iterations that deliver business value on an incremental basis


  • You are a leader, able to motivate your team to stay on course and help to remove obstacles to achieve your goals


  • You have demonstrated a record of success in inventing and launching successful features with limited supervision.


  • Experience in Food Delivery or a related field is a strong plus
