Product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) – Circuit Protection Portfolio – Electrical Products

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Product Lifecycle Manager for the Electrical Products business
unit to help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.

Welcome to the world of Smart Electrification. Join us and be part of a motivated and dedicated team within
the product management function of the Electrical Products Business Unit (BU):
In this role you will be responsible for managing of ongoing local development projects, as well as managing the quality of our circuit protection products (MCBs, Enclosures,..etc.).
In Your daily work you will oversee following tasks and responsibilities:
• Manage local implementation projects for low voltage power distribution products.
• Managing local development projects internally as well as with external partners
• Continuous interaction & communication with Global Product Management, Manufacturing & Quality
Teams in Germany.
• Handle planning of purchasing parts and manufacturing plans and needed resources.
• Develop and execute product strategy aligned with Siemens' goals.
• Define product roadmaps and manage the lifecycle from new concept to end-of-life.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to promote your products & grow market share.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for product development.
• Participate in and develop technical documents to raise awareness of Siemens solutions.
• Identify customer business needs and translate them into feature requirements.
• Ensure continuous product improvement and enhancement within a scaled agile framework,
managing quality, features, and program increments.
• Managing local certification processes with the governmental entities.
• Monitoring the quality of products during manufacturing process and on the customer side.
• Managing quality cases in time with strong focus on customer needs
• Monitor, analyze issues from field & manufacturing process
• Escalation of critical quality problems to the head of quality management & head of manufacturing in
Germany.
• Review and Approval of Quality Gates
• Review of all PLM documents and certification-relevant development documents for completeness
and plausibility
• Responsible for all aspects of quality during SCM integration and the production life cycle and
manages them through defined quality objectives
• Manage Qualification & Quality of purchased parts throughout the product life cycle
• Participates in purchasing product qualification, sourcing, preventive quality assurance, serial release,
complaints and supplier management
• Supports the Global R&D in development process throughout the entire product lifecycle as part of
the product improvement
Your Qualifications and Skills
• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering field.
• You have strong experience in low voltage power distribution portfolio and related standards &
regulations.
• You have a previous work experience of minimum of (5) years in product management and handling
localization projects (Project implementation, Quality Supervision and Production Planning) preferably
in a multinational company.
• Our Ideal candidate has an advanced Critical and respective Product/Market Analysis skills
• You will impress us with your outstanding Presentation skills & market Intelligence skills
• You enjoy working in multicultural, diverse, working environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic. Further language skills are highly appreciated.
