We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement professional to join our Group Procurement in the capacity of Procurement Executive.

Overview of the role



Sourcing Procurement Specialist will be responsible of the coordination of category plans, process efficiency, sourcing initiatives and tactics for the shared services across Al Futtaim Group Business Unites.

What you will do



Executes category sourcing strategies including development and execution of RFI’s, RFP’s and RFQs, documents bid events through correspondence to suppliers; develops selection criteria and drives the selection and approval process of suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams; conducts supplier negotiations and ongoing supplier management. Develops negotiation strategies, gains alignment from stakeholders, leads cross-functional, category-based negotiation teams, while implementing appropriate supplier risk analysis. Collaborate with different business units, and teams handling marketing and facility management procurement to align procurement activities with business needs. Manages contracts, contract negotiation, pre-negotiate and incorporate terms, conditions, key performance indicators, and service level metrics into vendor contracts. Ensures business process efficiency, and process improvement in line with Procurement strategy to empower the business as strategic partners. Creates and maintains good relationships with the vendors. Maintains and updates a list of Vendors and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development Establishes effective internal customer relationship management by maintaining timely & professional communication with the team & business peer. Works with team members and procurement ass. manager to complete duties as needed. Timely generation/ updating of management report(s)

Required skills to be successful



Full time Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or supply chain management Any Procurement or Finance Certification is an added value Demonstrated knowledge and experience in procurement processes Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies Negotiations skills Stakeholder management skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills Strong Supplier Relationship Management skills Strong communication and presentation skills Strong quantitative, cost modeling, data analysis and reporting skills Strong project management and process improvement skills

What equips you for the role



Previous hands-on experience in dealing with vendors (quotations, payments, reconciliations) Proficiency in procurement software’s and e-auction 1-3 Years of experience Commercial awareness beyond Procurement Experience with complex contract negotiations and subcontracting labor work Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (especially Excel), P2P systems.
