Summary
As a pharmaceutical Process Unit Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal performance of the solids manufacturing and packaging lines through guiding the maintenance technicians to perform the reliable corrective maintenance and plan / execute efficient preventive maintenance strategies to meet the site objectives.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
Routine Maintenance: Responsible for applying preventive maintenance plans for production equipment on time with the highest maintenance standards.
Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and handling daily machine issues to ensure machines availability with minimum breakdowns.
Spare Parts Management:
Responsible for spare parts management and ensuring applying fit to purpose maintenance strategy without affecting Quality or safety of the machines.
Documentation:
Responsible for recording all maintenance activities related to the machines on SAP maintenance tool.
Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) And HSE procedures for production equipment.
Team management:
Managing maintenance technicians and their daily activities, assigning tasks and ensure their development.
Key performance indicators:
Highest safety standard implemented during projects and operation s, no critical findings in HSE audits, no LTI and SIF. GMP/HSE compliance - Project targets fulfillment - Adherence to Site KPIs
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering. 2-4 years of experience in Maintenance/Engineering. Background of automation systems in production machines. Proficient in English Language. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
Work Experience:
2-4 years of experience in manufacturing industries, (preferred pharmaceutical/FMCG). Leading a team of maintenance technicians. Good knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, classic control, PLC basics. Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment. Performing both corrective and preventive maintenance using tools like SAP or Excel.

Time management. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
