More about the role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as Process Development & Lean Engineer in Egypt with Signify.
- This role is responsible for improving products, processes and machinery of the Production Unit (PU) in safety, yields,
- efficiency, quality and reliability performance, ensuring stable production.
- Responsible for deploying and executing continuous improvement capabilities in production unit.
- Creates required conditions to win in the marketplace through fast and efficient NPIs (time to market), and highly efficient
- production (zero defect, target output)
- Develops standards supporting lean manufacturing and waste reduction.
- Acts as project leader for improvement initiatives (production, documentation).
- Creates technical conditions such that the production process does not get disrupted and it is more resilient.
- Implements of new products and processes including through transfer of technical aspects in the PU.
- Contributes to team at startup in production through technical support and guidance.
- Takes improvement actions to reach target performance
- Manages and coaches project team members

- 3-5 years of experience
- Broadened/theoretical knowledge of generic products/services and the surrounding organization.
- Drives Operational Excellence, Lean methods and tools.
- Deep understanding of continuous improvement

- Capable of interacting with senior levels, networking.
- Knowledge of environmental, safety, ergonomy and quality regulations
