Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of database solutions to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the planning and optimization of database infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools.
• Manage and maintain the organization's database systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improvement.
• Plan and execute database backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
• Perform advanced performance tuning and query optimization for databases.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize application database interactions and ensure efficient query execution.
• Enforce database security standards, including user access controls, encryption, and auditing.
• Drive initiatives for implementing modern database platforms, including cloud-based solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex database issues, including critical outages and failures.
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures to minimize downtime.
