What this position is about – Purpose: 

As a Primary Process Engineer, you will ensure planned production volumes of Shisha are manufactured on time to supply market requirements, fully in line with product specifications, quality standards and cost estimates. You will plan, direct and control all primary processes to achieve KPI improvement targets across GSC priority areas of SERVICE - AGILITY - INVESTMENT - PEOPLE - CORE COMPETENCIES. Overall responsibility for departmental headcount and working patterns, budgetary planning and execution.  and ensuring staff are appropriately skilled to maintain safety and security. Ensure a working atmosphere following the legal requirements and JTI Code of Conduct.

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

• Lead your team leaders to Develop, analyze and enhance manufacturing methods to assist production requirements. Prepare work instructions, OPL's and SOP's. Provide proper training to staff on their job duties
• Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods according to DMS tools (TBM, BDA, CILT, CL,….) Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance activities in the Primary department. Manage the teams to apply process improvement activities
• Manage stocks of supplies and equipment. Ordering and installing replacement parts. Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment. Monitor and control maintenance costs by maintaining statistical and financial records
• Responsible for ensuring proper 5S3R of all areas within primary through implementation of sustainable programs. Apply all applicable JTI process improvement programs IWS, LCO, MOC, kaizen, tagging …etc
• Contribute to achieving the factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS, Energy & Quality management systems and ensure compliance with code of conduct, legal & other requirements

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

• Technical/Engineering mechanical or Electrical major with 2-3 years of experience
• Detailed knowledge and experience of production technologies and process improvement, data analysis, quality standards, safety management and cost / budgetary control, leadership & motivation skills
• Arabic and Business English language for effective verbal and written communication, PC, and Microsoft Office applications
• Leading process, Maintenance, IWS, Quality
