You will take data from many sources and translate it into meaningful insights to support the Global trading team to manage the performance of our VBG P&S. To provide a comprehensive view of the health of Products, you will provide analysis, trending and forecasting for key Sales, commercial, pipeline, service, and various other KPIs relating to our sales team and portfolios performance.
Key to this role is the ability to source data and translate into relevant, useful information that can then drive action and increase acceleration and growth. You will also be responsible for evolving and developing our analytics capability using the latest digital toolsets.
What you will do:
• Capture business requirements and create the schedule and scope of analysis including dashboards/toolsets for Commercial Performance
• Produce high quality, accurate, on time analysis
• Evolve analytics in line with changing business requirements & digital capabilities
• Support Sales with ad-hoc requests and requirements for analysis and assessment relating to Team, Product and Portfolio Performance.
• High fluency in English (spoken and written)
• +5 years analytical experience includes the following knowledge:
• Commercial (P&L) and sales awareness
• Pro-active problem-solving skills
• Excellent PowerBI (DAX) and Excel skills to frame analysis in structured outputs for leadership discussions
• SQL and/or Google Analytics knowledge is a major advantage
• Strong communication skills and comfortable presenting to, negotiating and engaging with relevant data analysts in various functions
• Ability to understand complex financial and commercial scenarios and distil them into simple concepts.
• Can apply judgement based on analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or new situations.
• Ability to work independently on complex data sets.
