Talent 360 is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team at Heibco. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing tech-based and tech-enabled startups in their early stages. This role requires a proactive approach to scouting promising ventures, conducting thorough evaluations, and providing strategic support to portfolio companies to align with Heibco’s investment strategy.
Expected Job Role:
CStartup Scouting and Acquisition:
Proactively research and identify promising tech-based and tech-enabled startups in the seed phase.
Build a network within the startup ecosystem, including incubators, accelerators, and entrepreneurial hubs.
Initiate outreach and build relationships with startup founders to explore investment opportunities.
Evaluate startups’ business models, financials, and growth potential to determine their alignment with Heibo’s investment strategy.
Portfolio Management:
Manage and oversee the performance of portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with Heibo’s strategic goals.
Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies to enhance their scalability and market presence.
Facilitate connections between startups and industry experts, mentors, and potential partners.
Investment Analysis and Decision Support:
Conduct thorough due diligence on potential startups, assessing financial, operational, and market dynamics.
Collaborate with the investment team to present recommendations to Heibo’s leadership for investment approval.
Develop financial models and forecasts to support investment decisions.
Relationship Building and Ecosystem Engagement:
Represent Heibo at industry events, conferences, and pitch competitions to build the brand’s visibility and attract startups.
Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem, including investors, founders, and accelerators.
Act as the main point of contact for startups, addressing their queries and supporting their onboarding process.
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare and present detailed reports on the performance and status of portfolio companies.
Provide insights into the market trends and opportunities within the tech-enabled startup ecosystem.
Communicate progress and updates to Heibo’s leadership team and stakeholders.
Required Years of Experience
At least 5+ years in venture capital, investment management, or business development.
Proven experience in startup scouting and managing early-stage investments.
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in business or management
Certificate
Relevant Degree/Certificate
Specific Industry:
preferably in the investment industry.
Qualifications:
Strong networking and relationship-building skills within the startup ecosystem.
Excellent analytical and financial modeling abilities.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in investment tools and CRM systems.

Working Days: Sunday -Thursday
Working Hours:9 AM-5 PM
Days off: Friday and Saturday
