Planning Manager

What will you do?

• Support sales function by creating project schedules and related support material for use in KONE estimates and proposals.
• Design, construct and maintain cost and resource loaded schedules for projects in execution and pro-actively highlights resource and time challenges in meeting schedule requirements.
• Interact directly with customers to clearly understand overall project requirements and milestones in order to integrate construction master schedules with those specific to KONE scope.
• Bridge potential misalignment between KONE Supply Line and Front Line by actively checking project schedules and identifying and suggesting corrective actions and scheduling opportunities.
• Assist Project Managers in the development and maintenance of existing schedules performing critical path, acceleration and gap analysis as required. 
• Assist in project performance analysis and forecasting based on Critical Path and Earned Value.
• Maintain accurate records of schedule development through the lifetime of the project.
• Ensure bespoke customer reports and contractual planning obligations are understood and fulfilled.
• Provide support to Project Teams and management in relation to EOT claims and Cause and Effect’ scheduling.
• Assist in project risk analysis.
• Contribute in the development of planning processes and best practices and assists with their implementation and guides; support and train project teams in their application.

Are you the one?

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry or other relevant fields
• Proven experience in construction project planning
• Good knowledge in cost planning and contract study
• Ability to use MS project/ Primavera planning tool
• Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic language skills
• Excellent presentation & analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate, multitask and handle changing projects requirements
