What You Will Achieve


You will have a key role to play in an organization that has people at its heart. You will be responsible for delivering and improving HR processes and programs through continuous improvement efforts, technology solutions and direct coaching. You will guide  execution of new and/or annual programs, such as performance management, employee relations,trainingand development etc. You will provide the necessary tools and processes to assist managers to better manage their workforce and drive behavior for colleagues to beself-sufficient.


As a Senior Manager, you will be setting the objectives for multiple projects. Your managerial and technical skills will help in guiding the people in your division. Your under


standing of the external marketplace and customer requirements will facilitate in instituting knowledge sharing practices in your team and outside. Youwillbe relied on to manage operational activities that support the goals of the division and sets direction for its success.


Through your expertise and extensive knowledge, you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for patients and healthcare.


How You Will Achieve It


  • Set objectives for and manage multiple projects within a division.


  • Develop innovative, advanced new concepts that improve processes or products across own and related disciplines.


  • Provide support with Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, Restructurings.


  • Corporate-wide initiatives and Strategic site initiatives.


  • Ensures high standards ofcompliance to norms, policies and procedure.


  • Work closely with leaders across HR function, business and other key leadership role  to develop and execute the Human Resources strategy.


  • Drive execution of annual and daily processes and provide timely and effective coaching to managers on HR processes and programs.


  • Help create and drive labor relations strategy and tactics.


  • Coach business leaders to build high performing teams to ensure effectiveness and delivery of business objectives.


  • Stay current with innovative HR practices and informed on best-in class  people and organization management.


  • Provide leaders coaching on HR systems and processes with an emphasis on teaching managers to become self-sufficient in utilizing tools.


  • Ensure high standards of Compliance to norms, policies and procedures.


  • Create and drive labor relations strategy as well as tactical plans with the intent of creating a harmonious and productive employee relations environment.


  • Play an advisory role in supporting leaders to anchor key initiatives in the areas of culture building, career and talent architecture and capability transformation.


  • Create a motivated, committed and engaged project team that fosters innovation and professional development.


Role Priorities:


Talent Acquisition


  • Ensure FTE positions are filled by diverse, qualified people, in line with the organizations recruitment policy and tools in a timely manner
  • Manage contractor hiring via the outsourcing vendor as may be required
  • Provide coaching to managers to ensure good talent selection decisions are made
  • Provide advice to hiring managers on compensation packages in line with approved pay ranges and compensation framework.
  • Ensure all systems of records are updated as required …. Workday, Payroll services and the leave system.
  • Ensure quality talent acquisition experience for candidate and hiring managers

Organizational Effectiveness


  • Ensure managers have understanding of the different levels of support available to them through Workday/Colleague services, fuse and local Px Client Facing face-to-face coaching. Transform the ways of working
  • Ensure the implementation of all Px/ processes, Performance management, Talent Management using prescribed selection and assessment processes
  • Successful execution of orientation, as well as on-boarding and off-boarding colleagues in compliance with Pfizer internal processes and labour law provisions
  • Drive a talent development agenda which enables the exploration of diverse growth paths and zig-zag development for colleagues through multiple experiences in alignment with business needs and colleagues’ aspirations.
  • Coach managers to effectively drive execution of core HR processes:

Performance Management, Open Door issues, Development planning, Talent planning, Annual Compensation processes in line with global guidelines and local practices (i.e. calibration, reporting, and performance/pay differentiation) including reward and recognition.


  • Change Management and Culture.

Implement people strategy and HR aspects for business priorities that are efficient, consistent and legally appropriate


  • Ensure that programs and processes delivered are aligned with the business and HR strategies.
  • Employee Relations: Implement the Employee Relations strategy, in line with policy, in Egypt and oversee ER investigations as required.
  • Keep updated on labor law changes in Egypt and provide advice to the Px Director and Business leaders as required
  • Serves as coach to line managers on employee issues such as performance, misconduct and redundancies as well as assist in respect of legal cases related to disputes to ensure compliance with employment laws
  • Support Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures, Restructurings, Corporate-wide initiatives, Strategic Business Unit initiatives

Drive global standardization, alignment and operational efficiency


  • Create understanding of the Global HR Operating Model as appropriate.
  • Review, challenge current HR processes and make recommendations for process improvements in partnership with relevant HR stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies in the country
  • Generate periodical reports to support manager decisions as required locally and the region

Internal Communication and Colleague Engagement:


  • Leverage communication as a vehicle to ensure colleague engagement and alignment of strategies and day-to-day operations. 
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships within the country and other partners lines to ensure clear communication and effective well-coordinated execution of PX and Business Initiatives.  
  • Create, evaluate and improve communication channels focusing on those experiences that drive authentic engagement

Health & Wellbeing  


  • Partner with Leaders to implement strategies that enhance colleague experiences, improve work environments that encourages colleague collaboration.
  • Serve as health and wellbeing ambassador encouraging use of Pfizer’s Wellness & Mental Health Resources and Benefits 

Qualifications


Must-Have


  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience, preferably within MNCs


  • Experienceinleading organizations through significant change.


  • Experience in creating and implementing standard HR process.


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.


  • Advanced Microsoft Officesuite skills and strong competency with tools (tools to be added by Hiring Manager).


  • People management experience.


Nice-to-Have


  • Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.


  • Know-how for/agility to learn HR platforms and technology.


  • Experience working with works councils/unions.


  • Consultative, facilitation and engagement capabilities.
