Role Objectives:
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with labor laws, and resolving payroll concerns internally; within the People & Culture department, while maintaining confidentiality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
●Responsible for collecting all the needed data for the monthly payroll including overtime, incentives, loans, if any.
●Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
●Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
●Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
●Ensure payroll records meets exact taxation and labor law compliance standards
●Maintains employee trust by keeping information confidential within the concerned stakeholders.
●Process and monitor all staffing changes including new hires, transfers, leavers and other amendments to salaries and employee data in compliance with policy and payroll requirements.
●Make all final settlements to all leavers and separate their payment in the payroll sheet.
●Handling bank accounts opening for new hires.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
●Bachelor’s Degree
●2-3 years of solid Experience in payroll function.
●Proficiency in MS. Office is a must.
●Exceptional Communication
●Very good spoken and written English.
●Highly organized and detail-oriented
●High follow up skills
