·Machine Operation Oversight:
-Supervise the operation of microtunneling machines and associated equipment to ensure safe and efficient tunneling operations.
-Ensure the microtunneling operations adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
-Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
-Implement and oversee regular machine maintenance schedules and troubleshooting protocols.
·Team Management:
-Lead, mentor, and manage a team of machine operators and technicians.
-Ensure team members are properly trained on safety standards, operational procedures, and the proper use of equipment.
·Safety & Compliance:
-Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and project-specific safety protocols.
-Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to safety guidelines and take corrective action when necessary.
·Project Coordination:
-Collaborate with the project management team, engineers, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
-Provide operational updates and progress reports to management.
-Support in planning and coordinating tunnel excavation work and other related operations.
-Ensure proper documentation of machine operation logs, maintenance records, and other required project-related reports.
·Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:
-Oversee the identification and resolution of operational problems and technical issues related to tunneling machines.
-Work with engineers to develop solutions to improve machine performance and efficiency.
-Implement corrective actions to mitigate downtime and maintain continuous tunneling operations.
Minimum
- Years of experience:
8 to 10 Years
- Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Professional Certificates:
PMP, IPMA or equivalent certificate is required
- Language proficiency:
Intermediate at English
- Computer skills:
MS Office / ERP
