THE JOB:



As a Uniform Supervisor at Luxor, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your ability to lead a team in efficiently managing our employee laundry services, ensuring Luxor employees are promptly provided polished uniforms, sets the stage for the memories that guests can carry with them well past their stay with us. By maintaining presentability and product stock levels, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience.
THE STARTING PAY: $28.85

THE DAY-TO-DAY:



Support upper leadership in managing linen inventory, overseeing of par stock levels and preparation of reports/memorandums
Ensure all policies and procedures, training manuals, job standards, and additional materials are current
for management review
Oversee employee scheduling to optimize efficiency during peak periods and adjust shifts as needed during slower periods
Address all employee relation issues in a fair and equitable manner, seek acceptable resolutions for all involved
Effectively communicate all changes to staff, coordinate quarterly departmental meetings, and additional meetings when needed
Introduce recognition programs and ensure departmental adherence

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
2+ years of prior Hospitality industry experience
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:



Bilingual
Has prior experience working with unionized employees and strong understanding of collective bargaining agreements (CBA)
Polished appearance and presentability
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Prior leadership experience of 1+ years, preferably in the laundry field
