We are looking for a Mid/Senior Software Engineer to join our Backend Team. You will work with upper management to define software requirements and take the lead on some operational and technical projects. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities
Designing and developing production grade software
Conduct rigorous software testing, debugging and code reviews
Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
Document development phases and monitor systems
Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical discipline
Proven experience as a Mid/Senior Software Engineer (3+ years of overall professional experience)
Experience in Django Framework and Python as a programming language
Experience in designing APIs with Django Rest Framework
In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Experience with Docker and familiarity with orchestration tools.
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and shell scripting
Experience with writing modular and reusable code
Familiarity with using system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks
