We're hiring a Mid Senior Quality Control Engineer to be sourced to one of our clients that provides a two-sided media network in which physical retailers use Intouch Live to enroll their in-store screens, and advertisers use Intouch Ads to buy ad slots on these same screens.

You will work on Site in El Gouna (a housing Facility is Provided) 

The Role

We are looking for a Mid-level QC engineer to design and execute tests to ensure the high quality of our products. As QC engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, performing root cause analysis, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.

The ideal candidate will own the process of monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards as well as conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly.

What will I be doing?

• Develop and execute manual test cases and preferably have a deep understanding of software testing concepts
• Investigate the product and effectively identify where breakage may occur
• Perform all testing activities, including bug reporting and retesting, root-cause analysis, regression & smoke testing
• Engage in reviewing functional specifications and participate in the product design process
• Work with the quality lead to plan testing activities and best practices
• Consistently work on improving quality aspects, test process, and infrastructure
• Receive and handle issues reported internally or externally

What skills do I need?

• at least 2.5 years of hands-on experience as a software quality/testing engineer
• Hands-on experience with writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and case coverage
• Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills
• Adequate understanding of quality control procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Hands-on experience with automation testing using Selenium is a plus
