We're hiring a Mid Senior Quality Control Engineer to be sourced to one of our clients that provides a two-sided media network in which physical retailers use Intouch Live to enroll their in-store screens, and advertisers use Intouch Ads to buy ad slots on these same screens.

You will work on Site in El Gouna (a housing Facility is Provided) 

The Role

We are looking for a Mid to Senior level QC engineer to design and execute tests to ensure the high quality of our products. As QC engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, performing root cause analysis, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.

The ideal candidate will own the process of monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards as well as conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performmanual testingacross web and API platforms to identify and report issues, ensuring product quality.
• Develop, execute, and maintaintest plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
• ConductAPI testingusing tools such as Postman and Swagger to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand business and technical requirements and provide feedback on design and usability.
• Work towards implementing and maintainingautomation testing frameworksusing Rest Assured.
• Participate inagile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to provide insights on testing progress and challenges.
• Analyze test results and work closely with developers to resolve bugs and issues.
• Document and communicate test findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance QA processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3+ years of QA experiencein manual and API testing, preferably in agile environments.
• Strong experiencewith API testing tools like Postman and Swagger.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, particularlyRest Assured, or willingness to learn and implement it.
• Excellent understanding ofSDLCandSTLC, including different testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, etc.).
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Ability to write and executeSQL queriesfor database validation.
• Proficient in creating detailedtest documentation(test plans, test cases, reports).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues clearly to developers, managers, and stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Bonus Skills:
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
  • Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
