Job summary: The primary responsibility of the LPN is to monitor the medication for our clients. This would include reviewing medication upon intake, ordering replacements or new medication and communication to the rest of the team responsible for the client medication self- administration protocol.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Meet with new clients when intakes occur on the Medication Coordinator’s Shift + Intake Medication
+ Discuss Medication Procedure
+ Add client to medication room/book/bag
+ Complete medication questionnaire with client
Order medications Complete monthly medication audits Audit medication books weekly
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse certification
Documented 1 years freedom from chemical use problems Ability to successfully complete DHS background checks process. Excellent written and verbal skills. Very well organized. Certified trained medical aid preferred Ability to remain on task and follow through projects to their completion.
Exceptional ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines and frequent interruptions.
Documented one-year work experience in direct service to individuals with chemical use problems or one year of work experience in the management or administration of direct services to individuals with chemical use problems. Ability to manage people and processes to achieve organizational goals.
Strong ability to relate to and disciple people with life-controlling problems.
