Ensure material availability to meet production and market demands.Optimize stock levels to minimize losses, reduce costs, and ensure healthy cash flow. Responsible for DIO, CSL, and Material Write-offs.About the Job:Convert sales forecasts into material requirements based on BOM.Oversee the material orders pipeline from requisition to warehouse receipt.Analyze and update safety stock models for optimal stock levels, balancing customer service and cost.Establish and maintain effective material scheduling to meet production needs, optimize costs, and ensure healthy cash flow.Seek and recommend solutions to overcome material shortage risks, meeting market requirements and mitigating operational risks.Manage warehouse capacity by monitoring utilization and projected required capacity, adjusting orders pipeline and revisiting target stock levels accordingly, while aligning the logistics team on 12 months forward needs.Ensure the integrity of the Bill of Materials (BOM) for each finished good, integrating it into the Material Requirements Planning system and ensuring its always up to datePlan and align suppliers on material ordering forecast ensuring they have a good vision to secure availability.Share 12M Forecast R&P with C&P team for contract negotiations and cost reduction opportunities.Collaborate with C&P team to optimize purchasing strategies.Cultivate strong supplier relationships for timely order fulfillment.Track and report supplier reliability KPIs, to push for supplier development and reflect on target safety stock if needed.Contribute to the assessment and sourcing of suppliers in conjunction with C&P team.Contribute to supplier meetings and negotiations of SLAs, lead times & Minimum Order Quantities, to ensure demand for materials is met and losses are minimized.Support new business initiatives and projects and contribute to Activity Management meetings and change process. Ensure effective material planning implementation takes place relating to the changes.Leading the planning part in the activity management forums, liaising with all stakeholders on product innovations & renovations, reviewing all material changes, communicating the impact on material planning and advising recommended phase out phase in scenarios to reduce risk and losses, taking into account all factors such as stock on hand, incoming pipeline, lead times, minimum order quantity, and need for parallel launches of multiple SKUs.Lead all raw material change tasks (liquidation, ordering, material forecast, etc.).Manage slow moving and near expiry stock to minimize write-offs.Implement flexible solutions to enhance business efficiency and MRP system effectiveness.Continuously investigate and implement system enhancement initiatives, ensuring that professional and consistent materials planning processes are applied across the business.Bachelor's degree in engineering, Materials Engineering3 to 5 years of experience, FMCG Experience is preferable Strong Analytical & Organizing skillsStrong Stakeholder Management skillsAdvanced MS Excel skillsExperience in SAP is a bonus
