Material Civil Engineer

He Procurement/Material Civil Engineer is responsible for the strategic sourcing, procurement, and management of materials and services required for civil engineering projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications and budgets to identify appropriate materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to maintain project schedules. The engineer collaborates closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that all materials meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role includes monitoring market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement processes, manage costs, and contribute to the overall success of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process from planning to delivery.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance and compliance.
• Prepare and present procurement reports and forecasts to management.
