Job Purpose:


The Market Access Manager will be responsible for optimizing the access of Hikma products by creating compelling value propositions for hikma products. The role involves leading the market access function, shaping strategies that align with brand objectives, and ensuring sustainable market presence through effective stakeholder engagement.


Key Responsibilities:


  •  Lead Hikma’s market access function, building robust strategies and tactical plans that optimize brand performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to align access strategies with overall product goals and market dynamics.
  • Create compelling value propositions tailored to the needs of payers and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain transparent and compliant relationships with stakeholders to foster partnerships that support market access goals.
  • Drive consistent stakeholder engagement to address payer needs, demonstrating the value of Hikma’s portfolio.
  • Analyze future trends and healthcare landscape shifts to identify opportunities and risks for Hikma products.
  • Ensure the successful execution of market access strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs.
  • Monitor and adapt strategies to align with the dynamic reimbursement environment.
  • Ensure all market access activities adhere to compliance standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Promote transparency in interactions with stakeholders and maintain trust in Hikma’s market access processes.

Market Access activities & Tools:


  • Lead development of the regional payer value story, ensuring a robust compelling Value story; for new launches in coordination with medical/ marketing.
  • Ensure the development of pharmacoeconomic (PE) studies for the strategic new launches to support enlisting and formulary process.
  • Lead market access efforts; enlisting and reimbursement, to ensure readiness and to accelerate access
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to sales and marketing and ensure “Early Access mindset” integrated within the culture of Hikma.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, any medical science or a relevant field
  • Preferred: MBA degree and/or PMP

Experience:


  • (+10) years of experience in Commercial role, sales and marketing; and/ or public tenders is essential.
  • Market access experience is preferred; With 3-5 years in a managerial position.
