What are my responsibilities?

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including repairs, of the systems covered by the maintenance section in accordance with the instructions.
• Repair and maintenance function applicable to the maintenance department, responsible for maintaining the infrastructure of railway-related sub-systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while completing tasks related to maintenance, repair, or installation.
• Survey and repair mechanical and electrical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems (Signaling, Telecom, and Power).
• Operate and handle equipment / Tools.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and methods
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Diploma or a Degree as an Electrical or Mechanical technician.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience and knowledge are required in one or more fields (Signaling / Power / Telecom).
• Previous experience in the railways sector.
• Able to communicate in good English language and can read technical manuals.
• Has a good knowledge of tools and equipment usage.
• Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, cooling, and other systems.
• Able to work well under pressure.
