Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office four times per week or other frequency dictated by the business and once a week remote.
Your Role: You will lead the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems and conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicates evaluation of results.
What You'll Do:
Supervise technician team, assigns their duties, monitors, evaluates, and keeps records of their performance.
Manage Corrective Maintenance and Emergency Maintenance activities for all machines in the assigned shop.
Plan and manage the Preventive Maintenance activities, review the PM steps as needed.
Manage Responsiveness (Down Time, Mean Time to Repair, Mean Time between Failure); Analysis and construct appropriate action plan with the team in the assigned shop.
Spare part Management and monitor availability along with consumption rate.
Measure Machines’ EEI for new portfolio projects or capacity increase
Issue needed Purchasing Orders and follow-up the approval and receiving cycles.
During night shift be responsible for all shops in addition support needed facility and utility activates.
Ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality and Environment requirement.
Support refurbishment/renovation Non-Portfolio Project requests.
Participate with Maintenance Operation Readiness for Portfolio Projects
Support in Non-Portfolio Project and Portfolio Projects as per function manager approvals.
Be site champion for one or more Safety Performance Standard/Workplace Safety System in GM Egypt.
Be maintenance Champion for one or more of Maintenance Focused GMS pillars.
Be maintenance focal point for any assigned Global committee/meeting as requested from function manager.
