JOB SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for:
- The Maintenance Manager is responsible for improving and sustaining the Plant’s equipment reliability and infrastructure at top-notch condition, through deployment of an effective and efficient maintenance strategy. This person will lead the maintenance team and ensure the necessary skills, training and work systems are being used in accordance with business needs to assure top performance. Interface with key suppliers (maintenance contracts, equipment and consumables suppliers) at a strategic and tactical level in order to ensure acceptable performance at a competitive cost.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Engineering Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
- Demonstrated experience of leadership and influencing skills organizing a high performing team of technicians in a complex environment.
- Experience of developing and implementing an appropriate Maintenance Strategy.
- Track record in leading technical problem solving on process equipment and a problem-solving mindset with experience of continuous improvement.
- Experience of working in food, chemical or life sciences industries is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Performance Management and people development experience.
- Extensive experience in computerized preventative maintenance planning systems.
