The responsibilities of the Microsoft Security & Endpoint Manager Consultant include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist the End Users being able to open and use the application on supported endpoints.
- Review the health and performance of Microsoft 365 services.
- Implement and manage security controls to protect Microsoft 365 data and services from unauthorized access.
- Provision and manage Microsoft Intune policies for device and application management, including configuration, compliance policies, and conditional access rules.
- Manage security patches and updates to address vulnerabilities and ensure system security.
- Generate and deliver regular reports on endpoint security incidents, compliance status, and risk assessments.
- Perform regular backups of critical data and ensure reliable disaster recovery capabilities.
RequirementsExperience:
5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Configuration Manager, or other endpoint management solutions.
Proven experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Defender, Azure Security solutions, and security monitoring tools.
Strong background in Microsoft 365 security architecture, policies, and compliance frameworks.
Experience in cybersecurity risk assessments, compliance audits, and security operations.
Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and security best practices.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device management, policy enforcement, and application management.
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Windows Defender ATP, and other security toolsets.
Expertise in Conditional Access Policies, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), and other identity security solutions.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and management.
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD), Hybrid Identity Management, and Microsoft Graph API.
