MTI, a leading trade and investment company is seeking a Logistics Specialist.Job description: Shipment Management:-Organize and oversee the shipping of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.-Verify shipment documentation for accuracy and compliance.-Collaborate with foreign partners to ensure smooth operations.Customs Clearance Processes:-Coordinate with in-house and third-party clearing agents to manage customs clearance.-Collect and verify customs documentation.-Maintain updated knowledge of Egyptian customs procedures and requirements.NAFEZA System Management:-Create ACID requests and manage the NAFEZA platform for various shipments.-Assist foreign partners with Cargo X uploading requirements.-Ensure all digital documentation complies with ACID/NAFEZA standards.Freight Forwarder Management:-Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple freight forwarders.-Negotiate favorable deals for transporting various types of cargo.-Track freight performance to ensure efficiency and reliability.Regulatory Compliance:-Ensure all logistics activities comply with local and international trade laws.-Maintain accurate and accessible records of all logistics operations.-Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively.Process Improvement:-Analyze logistics workflows to identify areas for improvement.-Implement new strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.-Stay updated on industry trends and technology to recommend process innovations.Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Commerce, or a related field. -4-5 years of relevant experience in logistics operations. -Proficiency in English for effective communication with international partners. -In-depth knowledge of Egyptian customs processes and ACID/NAFEZA systems. -Strong negotiation and organizational skills for managing freight forwarders and logistics processes. -Expertise in using the ACID/NAFEZA system, including creating ACID requests and handling Cargo X uploads.Work conditions:- working hours: 9:00 AM -05:00 PM - days off: Friday- Saturday- location: 1345 Kournish El Nile St., Cairo, Egypt
