Logistics Coordinator I

Job Summary

Processes and coordinates domestic, imports, and export shipments consistent with regulatory requirements for movement of both material and information.

Responsibilities/Description:

• Understand and apply the fundamentals of imports and exports.
• Monitor shipments and coordinate with customs, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely arrival of goods
• Advising and sharing information with internal and external customers on customs procedures.
• Creates and arranges the documentation needed for import and export orders.
• Receive shipments documentation, validate information, and prepare necessary paperwork and may have to request revised documents.
• Follow product through transportation and into warehouse.
• Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of the goods with the Warehouses to ensure smooth deliveries within required time

• Interact with warehouse for appropriate packaging/repackaging for meeting customer needs.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by supervision
• Recognizes and helps prevent violations of customs laws.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from reputable University  , Supply Chain , Logistics or related business certificate .
• 1 to 3 years' experience in Logistics and Supply Chain related work
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools and automated systems
• Fluent business English communication skills
• Highly collaborative and team player
• Proactive thinking
Training / Certifications:
• SAP basic training on functional areas of expertise is plus
