• Coordinate daily domestic transportation operations, including scheduling shipments, managing deliveries, and ensuring seamless execution of logistics plans.
• Monitor and track all local shipments, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery while addressing any delays proactively.
• Maintain open communication with service providers to negotiate cost-effective and timely transportation solutions, optimizing operational expenses.
• Prepare and deliver regular status reports on shipment performance, key metrics, and delivery updates to customers and the management team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve transportation challenges, such as delays, equipment issues, or unforeseen disruptions, to maintain service levels.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency to reduce operational costs and improve customer satisfaction.
• Act as a key liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams, offering prompt support and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
RequirementsQualifications and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar role, ideally within a trucking/transportation environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Familiarity with logistics management systems or transportation software is an advantage.
