Lab Microbiology Specialist

Lesaffre Egypt is a subsidiary of Lesaffre and is 100% owned by the holding company with Lesaffre Egypt for Yeast Industry is an Egyptian Joint Stock Company for producing baking yeast and yeast extract.was established according to the Investment Guarantees and Incentives Law No. 8 of 1997, and registered in the Commercial Registry Office of Cairo Investment authority under No. 65570 on April, 14, 2013.

• Responsible for Calibration for all incubators and scales and PH machine and water bath
• Responsible for Inspection of micro plates to count bacteria & microorganisms then adding results to system data base
• Carrying out all microbiological, pathogenic, and environmental analysis according to the control plan and the need for RM, semifinished product, final product, WWT samples, etc...

• Reporting analysis results and any Out of Specs
• Ensure the proper destruction of plates and hazardous tools
• Train and ensure proper microbiological sampling
• Responsible for inoculation of strain in Carlsberg, then conducting analysis on outcome, analysis include: dead cell, budding rate, brix, pH, concentration of yeast in Carlsberg
• Prepares Carlsberg for inoculation
• Responsible for preparation of media and needed chemicals to perform the lab activities.
• Ensure lab hygiene and cleaning

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology.
•  1-3 years of experience should have provided significant hands-on experience in a clinical, public health, research, or industrial microbiology laboratory.
• English is a must.

The position will be located in Nubaria, Egypt.

• Responsible for microbiological and pathogenic analysis to check on the final & semifinal and raw material product quality and the environmental samples to insure the proper production environment
• Preparation and injection of Carlsberg according to the production need
